Maple wood is relatively hard but fairly easy to process. It has a light yellow-white color, sometimes with a red or golden tone. Maple wood is used, among other things, for flooring and workbenches but also for instruments and carpentry. The fibers are sometimes wavy but usually straight and the texture is fine.
