An exclusive and popular type of wood that is well-suited to furnishing, floors, furniture and even instruments. Newly split cherry wood has a pinkish brown tone but matures over time and gets a more golden dark red to brownish red color. The stable wood has straight fibers and clear growth rings. It is quite hard but easy to process.
